A contemporary artist working with photography, collage, assemblage, and kinetic structures.
Born in São Paulo, SP, Brazil, the artist has always photographed since childhood and started writing poetry telling children's stories in 2007. She completed the MFA program at Miami International University of Art & Design in 2021 and is taking an MA in Photography at Barry University. Professionally, she applies art and its benefits in her social programs in Brazilian communities. A member of FAMA (Fiber Artist Miami Association) since 2021, she has lately been working on a mixed media series called Ligame (the antique Italian word for Legame, Link), combining weaving and ceramics inspired by her ancestry. One of these pieces was recently featured in a FAMA's collective exhibition at the Thousand Islands Arts Center: Home of the Handweaving Museum at Clayton, NY.
